Avit Clothing approached us needing a flyer and poster for their 5th Birthday Party event. The flyer and poster needed to stand out and needed to showcase Avit’s clothing designs. The background graphic is one of their sweater designs and the 3 figures in the poster and flyer are modelling Avit clothes.
We produced a similar design for both flyer and poster and the client was very happy with both. The event was a big success for Avit - we were invited down and enjoyed ourselves greatly!
“Avit clothing had a 5th birthday party in April 2011. Our first event was cancelled a few hours before it was due to go ahead. We arranged another event for 3 weeks later in a different venue. We approached Prototype Design in quite a panic as we needed new flyers and posters designed. They understood our concerns about our need to promote the new event asap, and turned both promotional material around for us in a day. The care, customer service and excellent design have made Prototype Design a company we will be coming back to again.””

When the BBC wanted to produce a definitive statement about the completion of the stage 6 building work at their White City Centre, we were approached to design and produce this prestigious work. We chose a landscape format with a spiral bound edge, tastefully finished. The pictorial content was laid out as a series cameos showing each stage of the development with minimal text content. Every picture tells a story and the finished brochure has been a great success, aptly demonstrating the entire building process in an easy to read book.
The design and production of the EIC Trade and Conquest Book was a mammoth undertaking from start to finish and the end result has been highly acclaimed as being a true collectible and iconic work, portraying a comprehensive record of the history of the East India Company. Our task was to remain faithful to the corporate styling, maintaining colour accuracy and integrity for all the exotic visual material (much of it from the archives of the V&A). The author was delighted with our work and the whole experience has been a sheer delight to undertake.
Our client was looking for an eye-catching and memorable advertising campaign that not only encapsulated the company's mission, values and goals, but also made a bold visual statement about its market performance and national award winning status. Our creative solution was to hang the entire campaign on a retro theme that brought service to the fore… the old fashioned way, without compromising on up to date methods of delivery. Luminus continues to be an award winning company and this series of adverts was highly acclaimed by the Inside Housing Magazine as being one of the most innovative campaigns they had ever seen.
Maracom has had a distinguished 60 year history of serving the heating and refractory industry in the UK and overseas. The end result had to reflect the excellence of this royally appointed company by capturing all its operating skills and core values. We organised all the photography and designed a brochure that has met the specified brief. The finished work has made its way to all the valued clients of Maracom and has also attracted favourable comments from a few international clients.
The brief was to create a highly informative, comprehensive and exciting visual experience for the industry specialists and also for the general public…. a tough order by any standard! Our final solution was to introduce a movement of pastel colour ways as a backdrop, with silhouette figures strategically placed within the design to represent the human involvement that Simtom Foods wanted to stress. This new style has been carried over to everything that we have managed for the company and now forms an integral aspect of the corporate branding. The brochure/folder is a shell for holding all the brange sheets, price lists and any other pieces of appropriate literature.
“When the need arose for a new brochure showcasing the entire Simtom foods range for existing and prospective clients, we asked our long term designers and friends at Prototype Design to create it for us. We were extremely happy with the end result and have received glowing praise for it from many of our clients. The project was completed ahead of schedule and the print solution that Prototype came up with looks great.”

Even though the need for print may be on the decline, the need for a tactile piece of printed communication is still with us and modern day print utilises all the resources provided by the digital media, whether it be photography, scanning, plate making and even digital based printing. As an experienced creative house, our print work is still much sought after and a lot of our work draws upon our experience of providing bespoke creativity, quite often, at very short notice. The growing list of client accolades speaks for itself, but most importantly, we'd like you be the judge of our work and arrive at your own conclusions from your visit to this site.
